In this role, you will be expected to travel up to 20%. Responsibilities include:
Manage delivery pipeline of software engineering solutions across a portfolio Collaborate with various teams including business, sales, and marketing to define requirements, interfaces, implementation approaches, and scalable and reusable solutions Drive technical excellence and implementation of best engineering practices such as design review, continuous integration, and test-driven development Be a hands-on problem solver and lead from the front in exploring new technology platforms Ensure adoption of quality assurance techniques to deliver high-quality software solutions Attract and retain diverse, skilled engineering talent with optimal utilization to maximize outputs Assemble and present technology delivery pitches to senior technical and non-technical audiences Support pre-sales and solutions teams to bring in new business Work across business, technology, and other functions to unblock teams and resolve issues Work closely with client engagement partners to improve client relationships Manage day-to-day operations and client communication efficiently Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/military experience 10+ years of IT experience 4+ years in an architect role, leading requirements analysis, design, development, and operations of distributed, fault-tolerant applications with focus on security, scalability, and performance Experience with multiple cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Rackspace, OpenStack, Oracle Cloud Hands-on web development experience with languages like Python, Go, C#, JavaScript (Node, Angular) Experience with back-end development and open source frameworks like Jersey, Spring Expertise in relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL technologies (Couchbase, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Cassandra) Experience with message queues like RabbitMQ, Redis Knowledge of N-tier architecture (MVC, JEE) and ORM Proficiency with Agile tools (JIRA) and DevOps tools (Gradle, Docker, Git) Excellent communication skills Your Future at Presidio
