Chico's FAS, Inc. Location: 3710 Route 9, Ste 2704, Freehold, NJ This position is part of a customer- and product-focused sales culture where core principles guide store operations. The role involves performing various sales operations functions, including merchandise handling, stock processing, and stockroom organization. Responsibilities
Operational Excellence: Process merchandise, ensure items are properly stored, ticketed, and easily located for replenishment on the sales floor; reorganize merchandise to maximize stock space. Merchandising: Ensure new products are properly merchandised and represented in a timely manner. Receiving and Invoicing: Correctly enter all receiving documents into the computer system; reconcile merchandise invoices to items received as applicable; accurately and timely complete store-to-store transfers and Locate requests. Visual and Stockroom Support: Ensure visual packet materials, props and signage are received and processed timely; properly store stockroom hardware, hangers, sign holders, etc.; assist with pricing changes and markdowns. Visual Directives: Assist with floorsets, window changes, visual presentations, signage placement, etc., as directed. Customer Experience
Support Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards through strong operational processes that support a cohesive omni-channel experience. Teamwork and Growth
Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem solving. Seek personal developmental opportunities and solicit feedback. Other duties as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent Previous stock or cashier experience preferred Must be 18 years of age or older Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Able to learn or adapt to company technology Must be able to stand for majority of shift Ability to work quickly within strict timelines and demonstrate teamwork Exposure to visual merchandising and product placement techniques desired Good communication with customers, associates, and management; headset use may be required Regular attendance and a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Physical Requirements
Constant walking/standing: 67-100% of an 8-hour shift Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs: 1-33% of an 8-hour shift Frequent climbing: 34-66% of an 8-hour shift Starting at $15.49/hour or city/local minimum wage as applicable.
