The Position

Relate to clients. Implement matters with minimum supervision. Research and prepare memoranda on complicated tax matters. Ability to advocate tax positions orally and in writing. Develop and implement estate planning techniques. Qualifications
JD from a law school; LL.M. in Taxation or candidate for LL.M. in Taxation preferred. Must be admitted to practice in New Jersey; Admission to practice in New York and/or Florida is a plus. 5+ years of experience in estate planning and estate administration including drafting sophisticated estate planning documents. Experience in the following is helpful but not essential: preparation of gift and estate tax returns; federal and state tax issues as it relates to the taxation of trusts; corporate and partnership tax issues with respect to mergers and acquisitions. Excellent research, writing and communications skills. A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses. Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. This position is considered full-time and therefore qualifies for benefits including 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
