Lead teachers are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes. Teachers plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment. Teachers work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service. What’s it like to be a teacher at our School?

Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred 1-2 years of previous experience preferred Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty members Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with handling of children for program support and safety; for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to lift infants into and out of a crib Meets background check eligibility About Goddard Schools

About Goddard Windward Owners

Our on-site owner and operator, Jenna Ellis, is on-site daily and active in all aspects of Goddard Windward. She is a former public school teacher who transitioned into management to support teachers in Early Childhood Education leadership. Goddard Windward is a teacher-focused school. The center has earned multiple awards, including Best Preschool in Alpharetta for years, recognizing the contributions of our teaching and leadership teams and community involvement. Jenna has been with Goddard Windward since 2013; her husband Zach joined in 2019 to help create a family-run, family-focused environment that supports our teachers.
