We are a small, local congregation that was the first Christian Church established in Jasper County, Missouri. Our worship service consists of a mix of contemporary praise and traditional hymns. We have an active youth program that we want to continue building upon, but are currently in need of a Youth Minister who is willing to assist with the current program, and lead in developing additional programs and opportunities for future growth. We are a church with a huge heart - helping to support many missions within, and outside of the U.S. boarders., actively participating with local food pantries, and doing many other things to glorify God and demonstrate His love to others. Position Description

In addition to what is noted in the church info. above, the youth minister will assist all current youth leaders and help direct all current activities and studies. It is anticipated that He/she will eventually develop and lead others in carrying out a "Total Youth Program" that focuses on Evangelism, service, worship, personal spiritual growth and overall glorification of the Lord and His church at Smithfield.The youth minister will answer to the minister and to the church board. Salary will be determined after a candidate is selected.
