LUN-A-TIC Position Summary The Cook is responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with Luna Grill recipes. Prepares various meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment. Knows and complies with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies and procedures. Stocks and maintains sufficient food levels at line stations for smooth service. Ports food according to standard sizes and recipes. Maintains a clean and sanitary work station, including tables, shelves, grills, and fryers. Assists in food prep during off-peak hours as needed. Properly closes the kitchen following the closing checklist and assists others in closing. Attends all scheduled team meetings and training sessions, providing suggestions for improvements. Performs other duties such as dishwashing and bussing as assigned.
