Golf Course Superintendent - National Golf Links
Seeking a qualified individual to be responsible for the overall golf course operations and maintenance at National Golf Links (NGL) in South Charleston, Ohio. NGL is a family owned and operated golf course since 1995. The championship course is on 312 acres of rolling hills with several creeks and ponds. The responsibilities include turf grass/plant material maintenance, personnel management, chemical and pesticide applications and compliance of regulatory issues. Major Duties: All activities associated with producing excellent playing conditions Development and implementation of fertilizer, aeration and pest management program for turf grass and plant care Develop maintenance budget and operating plan with input from owner/manager Participate with the development and implementation of course improvement projects Participate and or supervise equipment maintenance and repair Works closely with Golf Professional as it relates to course conditions and outing set ups Works closely with owner/manager Qualifications: Turf Management degree preferred 2 or 4 years Experience with irrigation systems Experience with equipment maintenance and repair Ability to analyze and solve problems, efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision and work flexible hours including weekends as needed
