We’re looking for an exceptional Product Lead to develop TBF’s first-ever career exploration and workforce-readiness platform. You will own the full product lifecycle—from problem discovery and user research with students, team members, and educators, through roadmap, delivery, launch, and continuous improvement. You’ll be supported by the Head of Programs and will collaborate cross-functionally with TBF, TB colleagues, and external vendors to deliver measurable outcomes for young people while upholding the Foundation’s mission. You don’t need to know everything, but you should know what you don’t know and be willing to collaborate with experts to find the best solution. Ideal Candidates will
Own the product:
Partner with the Head of Programs and Innovation to execute the development of the product vision while owning the roadmap and execution for an AI-driven digital ed-tech platform that empowers learners to explore and thrive in careers they love. Drive discovery & design:
Lead user research with users; translate insights into clear requirements, leveraging AI to create intuitive, personalized learner journeys (mobile-first, accessible). Translate Gen Z needs, behaviors, and motivations into platform features that are engaging, gamified, and shareable in partnership with third-party vendors and the Head of Programs. Influence Cross-Functionally & Partner Broadly:
Influence cross-functional teams, vendors, and education partners to deliver a cohesive and scalable product experience. Measure Impact:
Develop KPIs and product health metrics (adoption, activation, completion, satisfaction, equity of access); ensure safeguarding, accessibility, privacy, and data & AI ethics in all product decisions; collaborate with Taco Bell digital and legal teams for compliance. Track the ed-tech landscape:
Stay current on edtech and AI trends to inform long-term product strategy and maintain a competitive edge. Keep youth at the center:
Design for clarity, confidence, and human connection; ensure support for all young people, including those taking nontraditional paths. Is This You?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 5–7 years of professional experience with 3+ years in product management or EdTech. Ed-tech fluency preferred (LMS/LXP, youth or early-career programs, credentialing, mentoring, workforce development). AI experience a plus. Adjacent domains welcome. Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability. Clear and effective communication with technical vendors, program delivery partners, and project teams. Budgeting and financial management skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and details. Positive, flexible, and able to handle stress calmly and professionally. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management tools (Monday, Jira) and Agile project management is a plus. Work-Hard, Play-Hard
Hybrid work schedule (onsite Tue/Wed/Thu) with year-round flex day on Friday. Onsite childcare through Bright Horizons. Onsite dining center and game room (yes, there is a Taco Bell inside the building). Onsite dry cleaning, laundry services, carwash. Onsite gym with fitness classes and personal trainer sessions.
