Key Responsibilities
Safely transport residents to and from dialysis appointments
Assist residents with mobility needs and ensure comfort and safety during transport
Prepare dialysis equipment and ensure cleanliness and readiness of the dialysis area (if on-site)
Monitor residents during treatment for any signs of distress and report to nursing staff
Communicate effectively with dialysis nurses, technicians, and facility staff
Maintain accurate records of transport and treatment times
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
CPR/First Aid certification preferred
Experience in a healthcare setting or patient transport role preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed
