The Department of Biology at Austin Peay State University invites applications for an
Assistant Professor - Plant Evolutionary Biology . This is a 9-month, tenure-track position starting August 2024. We seek a candidate whose interests complement and expand our departmental strengths in ecology, evolution, and organismal biology. The specialty area is open, but preference will be given to candidates working with non-model plant species in the central or eastern US, and who can develop a field component in their research. We value candidates with experience mentoring students from diverse backgrounds and a commitment to increasing access for under-served populations to graduate and professional programs in biology.
