JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Business department is seeking a positive, supportive, and dynamic Laws Instructor to teach a diverse community of learners.

Fixed Term
Minimum Pay:
$0.00
Compensation will be commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience.
Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion, and the use of classroom experiences to enhance workplace understanding and performance.
Teach with excellence a full range of Laws coursework.
Courses are taught in class, online, and/or in a hybrid format. Must be available to teach day, evening, or weekend courses. Background check required as part of employment. Official transcripts must be on file upon your first day of hire.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in the discipline or in a related discipline
AND
2 years full-time related occupational experience.
Note: Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) status is equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
A Juris Doctorate (JD) is required to teach law classes.

In 1992, the Legislature voted to change the name to Metropolitan Community College Area.
