The Research Institute consists of centers in clinical research, cancer research, epidemiology and population health, precision medicine and genetics, and agricultural safety and health. We strive to make national and global research trials available close to home by having research staff located throughout our catchment area, because connecting research to care is what we do best.The Center for Clinical Epidemiology & Population Health conducts independent and collaborative research on disease occurrence, risk factors, prevention, and treatment. Our mission is to improve population health and clinical outcomes by leading consequential epidemiology research.
The Research Coordinator, under direct supervision, begins gaining experience in clinical trial management procedures by assisting in the planning, designing, coordinating and implementation of research studies or projects. The Research Coordinator is accountable to utilize good judgement, common knowledge and learned skills while maintaining expected quality standards. The individual who holds this position exemplifies the Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with MCHS policies and procedures.
Full-Time, Permanent, Mon-Fri (8:00am-5:00pm). Mileage is reimbursed for travel positions.

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
High school diploma AND four years of experience in a medical or research field.

Completion of 30 college credits in a physical, biological, social science, or related field AND two years’ experience in a medical or research field.

Associate degree (or completion of 60 college credits) in a physical, biological, social science, or related field.
– OR –
Bachelor’s degree in a physical, biological, social science, or related field.
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Human Subjects Protection and Good Clinical Practice training through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) within 90 days of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 90 days of hire.
Other Certifications/Licenses as listed per the department the position resides in.
Preferred/Optional:
Certified Clinical Research Coordinator Certification through Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or through Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) within 6 months of qualification.
