Overview
Senior Care Therapy is seeking full-time or part-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists to join our mission of providing in-person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population. We currently serve over 300 Skilled Nursing Facilities including sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted living facilities throughout NJ, NY, PA, and MD. As a clinician owned and operated company, SCT provides supportive counseling through patient-centered psychology services that have a meaningful impact on residents' mood, functioning, and overall quality of life. By working collaboratively with facility staff, SCT aims to improve outcomes for both residents and the care teams that support them. We handle all administrative responsibilities -- including billing, insurance, credentialing, and pre-certifications -- so you can focus on providing exceptional clinical care. Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in a subacute or skilled nursing facility Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral health conditions, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the needs of each patient Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards using our clinician-designed electronic medical/health system (EHR) Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Requirements
Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state applying for Effective oral and written communication in English Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR) Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to regulatory compliance Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices within the facility throughout the day Full vaccination and booster status may be required in some facilities Preferred Qualifications
Previous clinical experience in a subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare setting History of treating anxiety, depression and adjustment disorders; psych or addictions experience is a plus Excellent time management and organizational skills SCT welcomes individuals with a variety of licensure types to join our exceptional team.
