This role involves working outdoors, providing essential services to maintain the health and aesthetics of trees and landscapes. The Arborist will be responsible for performing tree pruning, removals, cabling and bracing, and using specialized equipment. Responsibilities
Perform proper tree pruning to enhance growth and aesthetics. Utilize rigging techniques for safe tree removal and handling of branches. Operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts for high-access tree work safely and efficiently. Communicate understanding of all safety policies and procedures Utilize specialized equipment for climbing (ropes, saddle, ladders) along with all associated tools. Requirements
Proven experience in tree care, including pruning to ISA standard, removals and bracing. Familiarity with rigging techniques and safe operation of bucket trucks. Knowledge of GIS systems for effective data management in arboriculture. Background in horticulture or related fields is preferred. Strong understanding of landscaping principles and lawn care practices. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in arboriculture are a plus and may be compensated for respected certification (ISA certified arborist, CTSP certification, TRAQ certification).
