The party host is responsible for the day-of oversight of birthday parties and other youth events. The primary responsibility is to ensure the event space is open and ready, greet the client, and assist during the event as needed. Essential Functions
Unlock the party space and arrange equipment, tables, and chairs as requested. Assist the party client with setup, as requested. Greet party attendees and ensure required forms are completed. Review the event schedule and provide support as needed. Check in with the client periodically. Handle injuries, incidents, or messes, contacting the appropriate individuals and completing necessary forms. Ensure the party ends on time and perform cleanup duties as instructed. Working Conditions
Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist intermittently or continuously. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects like files and reach overhead. Ability to operate a computer, fax, and telephone. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old. Prior customer service or party experience preferred. Experience leading games and activities with children preferred. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Effective communication with customers of various ages. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Sound judgment. Additional Information
