Account Transfer Associate | Memphis, TN at Raymond James. This role is responsible for facilitating the external transfer of client assets, researching and resolving complex issues, monitoring workflow for efficiency, and maintaining accurate departmental metrics. The position supports internal associates and Financial Advisors by addressing escalated inquiries and providing standard client support services. It requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication, and a client-first mindset for delivering operational support across teams. Responsibilities

Review and approve client requests to transfer accounts to and from contra firms. Screen incoming or outgoing client requests and verify accompanying legal documentation. Scrutinize information in transfer forms and letters of authorization. Assist with information requests and refer more complex matters to colleagues. Answer telephone inquiries and assist via email or mail with basic information; direct more complex matters to colleagues as needed. Carry out standard customer service activities and handle simple inquiries. Conduct data entry into company systems and verify information for accuracy and accessibility. Enter data into branch systems and document counter transactions. Maintain files and records; organize daily work schedule to align with changing priorities. Follow mandatory procedures to meet quality standards and comply with external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct. Develop and maintain procedural or technical skills through training and coaching. Knowledge Of

Understanding of each type of security held by the firm and how they differ in complexity. Industry rules and regulations applicable to account transfers. Other Home Office Operations departments and required legal documentation. Skills

Clear and effective verbal communication under supervision to express ideas and request actions. Proficiency with standard office equipment and software, under supervision. Bachelor’s: Accounting, Bachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: Finance; High School (Required). Work Experience
