Starting at $25 - $30 an hour, depending on experience Schedule
Monday-Friday, starting at 6am and working until all loads for the day have been delivered Location
Bothell, Washington Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently load and unload building materials from a commercial motor vehicle Legally, safely, and efficiently travel to destinations through public and private roads Complete mileage and fuel usage reports Demonstrate commitment to on-time and in-full deliveries Learn and use route planning and optimization Follow delivery procedures by taking photos of delivered shipment after completing each delivery Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of all equipment Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers, contractors and vendors Perform required safety audits of vehicle and report any malfunctions as required Promptly report all accidents/incidents Annually update driver’s qualification file as required Prioritize productive work during downtime Keep truck supplied, organized, and clean; present professionally Check load for accuracy Proactively manage job-site conditions for next delivery and communicate with others Provide required paperwork and scanning for dispatch Learn products and their applications for end users Demonstrate knowledge of tie-down rules and regulations Understand weight, height, and length limits Ensure all material transported has an invoice or Material Returns Form Learn best practices related to efficient loading, strapping, and driving Qualifications
Class B CDL or higher Must be 21 years old or over Current DOT Medical Card Acceptable driving record Ability to speak, write, and read English Knowledge of vehicle safety audits and reports as required by regulations and policy Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience Open and transparent communication Familiarity with GPS devices or map applications Driving experience within 50-mile radius of primary location preferred Physical requirements
Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to sit for extended periods Ability to stoop, bend and walk Benefits
