Basic Crewing/Sailing Course - Tacoma, Training Sail #2 - Goldfinch, Foss Harbor

Instructor Availability: FULL (2 capacity) This is the second of two sails included in the Tacoma Branch's Basic Crewing/Sailing Course. Students of the course should only sign up for one Training Sail #2 activity. An outline of topics that will be covered during this training sail is shown below. Please review the related material in your course text book before the sail and make sure you ask any questions necessary for you to understand the concept being covered. Sail activities will take place rain or shine. The activity may, however, be canceled due to high wind. Call your skipper 1 hour before the start of the activity to make sure it is still a go. Please show up on time. Meeting place and time: Goldfinch is located in Slip U8 at Foss Harbor Marina, Tacoma. Meet Travis and Meredith at Gate 1 at the tables in front of the Marina store at 2pm and we'll walk down to the boat together. We'll go out rain or shine (be sure to bring your 11 essentials) and sail until 5 or so. Contact Meredith at 540-535-6709 1hr prior to sail to confirm, or if you have any questions.
