$25.00 hourly SUMMARY: ASM Global and Savor, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Banquet Captain at accesso ShoWare Center in Kent. This position is responsible for assisting the Food & Beverage Directors with the operation of the Front of House catering functions. MAJOR RESPONSIBILIES: Supports Food & Beverage Directors in all activities surrounding guest functions to comply with function contracts and accesso ShoWare Center standards. Trains new employees on accesso ShoWare Center processes and procedures. Supervises Front of House catering staff, providing direction and support where needed. Ensures a clean and safe working environment. Effectively handles guest concerns as they arise. Responsible for accurate billing and close out procedures at the end of assigned functions. Confidently anticipates and responds to needs and expectations of our guests. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in a banquet setting required; arena experience preferred. Computer and POS system proficiency. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment. Able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Must be able to pass background and credit check.
