The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and help complete daily reports. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu. Prepare daily transaction verification reports. Understand meal inclusions. Ensure proper and sanitary storage of food. Serve food according to schedules and policies. Use and care for kitchen equipment, especially knives. Prepare various food items and beverages promptly. Add garnishments for presentation and customer satisfaction. Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen equipment. Follow food safety regulations for sanitation and storage. Adhere to uniform policy. Coordinate with the manager to prepare the daily menu. Supervise food temperature requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work and storage area. Sanitize counters, steam tables, and other equipment. Follow procedures for cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing. Keep garbage and kitchen floors tidy and sanitary. Perform additional duties as assigned. This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. Uniforms and/or PPE may be required.
