FOX is seeking a top caliber Fitness Specialist to join our growing team in the Issaquah, WA area. This position is approximately 2 hours weekly with room to grow and focuses on Senior Living; 1:1s and small groups. Current class schedule is Tuesdays 11a-12p, Fridays 2p-3p. Founded in 1998, FOX was the FIRST private practice in the country to provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an in-home setting for the older adult population. Our focus is the rehabilitation of lives delivered through evidence-based therapy with innovative and proactive treatment. Pay and schedule
Base pay range: $22.25/hr - $26.25/hr. In Washington, the standard base pay range for this role is $22.25 - $26.25 per hour with an opportunity to earn more. This position involves travel to patient residences and between Senior Living Communities, with potential territory expansion as needed. Responsibilities
Fitness Specialist opportunity entails patient continuity: patients are prescribed exercise programs to maintain functional levels after discharge from rehabilitation services. Provide excellent support through leadership, clinical education, and an assigned Program Manager. Qualifications
Must have one of the following: Bachelor's in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or Exercise Physiology; or Certified Personal Trainer through a nationally recognized organization (ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA) or equivalent prior fitness trainer experience with willingness to become a CPT. Routine travel to patient residences and between Senior Living Communities; expand territory as needed. Travel as needed per practice requirements. CPR Certification. Previous experience working with older adults in a proactive wellness setting preferred. Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Proven ability to work with older adults in a wellness-focused role. Contact
