Overview

Shakopee Public Schools is looking for a Long-term Substitute (LTS) - 1.0 FTE - Art Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year at Shakopee High School. A background in ceramics is preferred. Job Summary

Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability and creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, works collaboratively with other staff members. Engages with the Academy team to support students and the Academy model. Qualifications

Current and valid MN teaching license in Art K-12 Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction Strong classroom management skills Effective communication skills Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff Background in ceramics is preferred Pay & Benefits Information
