Job Overview We are looking for a
Graveyard Shift - Sanitation Specialist
to join our rapidly expanding team. The person contributes to our mission by cleaning and organizing the plant, moving material with forklift. This position is essential to support the department in maximizing customer satisfaction for both internal and external customers.
Schedule & Compensation Schedule:
Monday‑Friday, 8:00pm‑4:30am
Starting pay:
$20.00‑$20.50/hr

Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Clean rooms, hallways, corridors, stairways, waste dock and other production areas as assigned.
Utilizes forklift to move material.
Sweeps, scrubs, and maintains all walk ways inside the plant clear of debris or foreign material using janitorial supplies and equipment such as mops, buckets, cleaning chemicals, brooms, floor scrubbers, and dusters.
Empties wastebaskets, boot scrubbers, and foot baths. Replaces trash can liners, paper towels, and replenishes supplies as needed daily.
Identify areas which need special attention to detail (spot cleaning).
May be required to provide re‑sanitation and sanitizing to production equipment if needed.
Monitor all back dock dumpsters, call for disposal when levels are full (cardboard & plastic) and half full for organic.
Transport, dispose trash to waste disposal area (back dock) up to 35 pounds.
Maintain supply room in a neat and orderly manner; advise purchasing when levels are running low.
Storage and receipt of inventory when received from vendor/supplier for supplies.
Replenish all packaging room supplies such as gloves, sleeve protectors, masks, hair nets, or other protective personal equipment.
Daily monitoring of trash and debris.
Ensure you have correct PPE’s (personal protective equipment) at all times while engaged in janitorial activities.
Practice all janitorial duties in a safe manner with a goal of achieving a 0 safety‑related accident or incident result for yourself monthly and annually.
Position Qualifications
Able to read, write, and understand English.
Forklift experience is a must.
Able to lift up to 35 lbs regularly throughout shift, and up to 50 lbs infrequently.
Highly motivated and energetic.
Have the drive to learn and grow with the company.
Able to comprehend and take directions.
