Full-time, tenure-track position All Candidates Must Provide proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status by completing Federal Form I-9. Provide evidence of criminal record check clearance by the Department of Education. Sworn statement of no convictions during initial six months. Evidence of adequate health and ability to fulfill job functions. Pass the required Mantoux Tuberculin Test. Position Purpose Under supervision of the School Principal, facilitate student success through implementing curriculum, documenting progress, addressing educational needs, creating a safe learning environment, and providing feedback to students, parents, and administration. Essential Functions Develop and administer curriculum aligned with district goals. Promote a safe classroom environment conducive to learning. Develop lesson plans and instructional materials. Assess student learning and modify instruction accordingly. Instruct students on responsible citizenship and other subjects. Engage in professional development activities. Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance. Encourage parental involvement and communicate effectively. Manage student behavior and ensure a positive learning atmosphere. Coordinate with staff and participate in meetings. Select and requisition instructional supplies. Supervise students during activities outside the classroom. Administer standardized tests. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Knowledge of current teaching methods and curriculum. Ability to analyze data and develop action plans. Effective communication skills. Ability to establish cooperative relationships. Physical and Mental Demands Work in standard office and school environments. Education Bachelor's degree in Education or related field from an accredited institution. Experience Prior teaching experience is a plus. FLSA Status: Exempt
