This opportunity is for a full-time School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Sterling Heights, MI. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for K-12 students Collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to develop effective student support plans Implement strategies for student engagement and behavioral interventions Manage caseloads while adhering to Michigan-specific laws and regulations, including MARSE guidelines Evaluate English Language Learner (ELL) students using culturally relevant methods Maintain accurate and timely records, reports, and documentation required for compliance and educational planning
Desired Qualifications And Experience
Active Michigan School Psychologist License, or willingness to obtain one Familiarity with Michigan's MARSE regulations and legal requirements related to special education Experience working with ELL students and diverse student populations Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and problem-solving within educational settings Ability to balance direct service delivery with indirect duties such as planning and paperwork
