- Computer experience**JOB DESCRIPTION:**Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a large dairy operation located in Indiana who is searching for a qualified, hands-on Dairy Manager who will be responsible for the profitability and smooth running of the dairy. A successful candidate must have prior dairy management and leadership experience. This position will oversee 6 7 direct reports and its staff, to keep it running effectively and to ensure procedures and protocols are being followed and completed in a timely matter. This candidate should have strong repro, fresh cow and herd health experience, calf and maternity care management and will work closely with the veterinarian and nutritionists. This candidate must also manage cow flow through the parlor and manage the feeding crews to feed cow effectively. This candidate will be responsible for inventory control of vet supplies and feed stuffs, purchasing medications and vaccines, and ordering feed. Employer prefers someone who speaks dairy Spanish but will consider someone who is willing to learn. This position is 25% in the office, 75% on the farm.**ALL INQUIRIES ARE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
