GO-C Menasha is the RRD Center of Excellence for Packaging Prepress. Services include packaging production artwork, prepress, color management services, flexo platemaking and a range of proofing and prototyping. This onsite position will be part of a production art team preparing packaging art files for use by prepress. Responsibilities
Produces technically correct mechanicals for release to prepress. Interacts with designers and other team members as needed for completion of assigned projects. Solves business challenges through smart production. Maintains and enhances the client\'s identity by working within the corporate Brand Guidelines. Understands the client\'s design needs and methodology. Communicates effectively with peers, senior management and clients across topics from business to creative. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in discipline related field (preferred) 4+ yrs. of experience (can be a combination of education and experience) Skills and Certifications
Must be proficient in industry standard design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and MS Office) and other applicable programs on Macintosh platform. Love for the technical side of design Ability to prepare projects for print is essential Ability to build strong, technically tight, problem-free mechanicals Ability to set up and organize clean template files that can be adapted to many uses and streamline the production process Proficient knowledge of prepress and printing standards Proficient knowledge of CMYK, RGB, color modes, conversion, tone structure, memory colors, flesh tones and multitone files Ability to produce independently and in a team environment Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn existing and new workflows Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to build and maintain strong and effective customer and internal relationships Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to listen for understanding to execute the work according to the customer\'s needs Strong project management skills, organizational skills and time-management skills Additional job requirements may be listed on the staffing requisition. RRD\'s current salary range for this role is $49,400 to $73,100 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on geographic location and may change in the future. Compensation decisions may vary based on education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, total compensation may include bonus, commission or incentive programs. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage; paid time off; disability insurance; 401(k) with company match; life insurance and other voluntary coverages; parental leave; adoption assistance; tuition assistance and employer/partner discounts.
