We are seeking a CI Cyber Threat Analyst (Level III) to join our team. This role supports the CI Cyber Branch by producing threat assessments, conducting anomaly investigations, and contributing to the protection of national security systems against cyber and technical surveillance threats.
The CI Cyber Threat Analyst will provide high-level expertise in technical threat assessments and reporting, cyber counterintelligence, and liaison coordination across the Intelligence Community to inform and enhance enterprise risk mitigation efforts.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Producing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual CI cyber threat reports based on technical CI and IC reporting
Developing Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs) and Reports of Inquiry
Conducting anomaly investigations using tools such as Palantir, ARCSIGHT, RSA Analytics, and M3
Supporting incident response and CI inquiries related to technical threats and cyber intrusions
Providing CI input and subject matter expertise to support NGA cybersecurity, insider threat, and CI operations
Synthesizing all‑source intelligence to identify patterns, trends, and actionable countermeasures
Collaborating with NGA stakeholders and Intelligence Community partners to enhance threat awareness
Ensuring reports adhere to CI reporting standards using BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front) methodology
Qualifications Required:
Minimum of 11 years of Threat Analysis experience, including at least 5 years in Technical Threat Analysis or cyber investigations
Ability to obtain DoD 8570.01-M IA Level II certification within one year of assignment
Desired:
Credentialed graduate of an accredited federal or DoD CI training academy
Bachelor's or post‑graduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) disciplines
Familiarity with foreign intelligence services, cyber threats, and technical surveillance
Experience in mentoring and supervising teammates to achieve measurable objectives
Ability to translate government requirements into actionable analysis and reporting
Security Clearance Requirement
An active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
Subject to undergo a CI polygraph
