Greenhouse – care for plants in greenhouse. Plant, weed, fertilize, water (Percentage of time: 30) Assist with field research – collect plant samples, label, flag, stake (Percentage of time: 20) Assist with basic lab protocols – Phytophthora isolation, Xylella isolation, DNA extraction, etc. (Percentage of time: 30) Assist with basic lab maintenance and chores – wash glassware, autoclave supplies, prepare basic solutions and media, take away trash, etc. (Percentage of time: 20) Qualifications
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position:
High school diploma preferred Physical Demands
Standing, lifting, enduring outside elements for extended periods of time. Driving. Miscellaneous
