Position Summary

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will lead the Trauma & Emergency Medicine sales team in the acute care hospital market, focusing on the Arrow EZ-IO Intraosseous Vascular Access System and Z-Medica hemostatic products (QuikClot, QuickClot Control+). The role ensures products meet Teleflex and client needs with a high standard of excellence, urgency, and predictability. The RSM will collaborate with the Director of Sales to drive profitable revenue and market share growth within the region, and partner with Sales Training, Marketing, Sales Operations and Corporate Accounts leaders to provide field sales and clinical insights. The RSM will build people capabilities, ensure the right people are in the right roles, and empower team members to reach their potential. This role leads a regional team of Sales Representatives, communicates performance expectations, and inspires the team to meet challenges, achieve goals, and grow the business. The RSM serves as a liaison between the field and corporate, providing local insights to influence marketing plans, tactics, and product development. The ability to understand, react quickly, and motivate others to adapt to change is critical. Core competencies include motivation and leadership, team development, business acumen, strategic planning, business partnering, and time/resource management. Planning and conducting regional and national meetings is an ongoing responsibility; administrative duties include expense report review to assure policy compliance and regular use of Salesforce.com. Responsibilities

Lead and inspire a team to meet challenges and achieve ambitious goals with clear direction in a dynamic environment. Develop and communicate a compelling strategy for the business; lead performance reviews to drive customer compliance and identify opportunities. Apply evidence-based judgment to analyze situations and solve problems. Promote a climate of respect and cooperation; partner across organizational lines to exceed client needs; collaborate with corporate accounts and sales reps on contracting strategy; understand provider landscape and pricing/contracting; identify contract expirations. Build performance-based relationships, coach effectively, and foster trust within the team. Maintain focus amid ambiguity; coach to the Balanced Seller process; forecast monthly/quarterly/yearly results within 5% +/-; review expense reports for policy compliance. Use positive influence to sustain high performance; communicate objectives clearly; hold self and team accountable to goals. Develop key customer relationships; gain insights from customers to address unmet needs; conduct regular field travel to coach team members and accelerate regional growth; engage with key influencers and expand the network of customer champions. Demonstrate strategic agility by analyzing the business unit and implementing sales strategies; collaborate with DoS to drive account penetration for new and existing products within the Emergency Medicine portfolio. Encourage innovation and problem-solving; coach teams in problem-solving techniques; promote inclusion and diverse perspectives. Education / Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university. 2+ years’ experience in a sales management role within Medical Devices with a proven track record of success. Experience selling products and managing teams in Emergency Department, ICU, and Operating Room settings. Strong management, strategic selling, and negotiating skills. Ability to work collaboratively and independently; handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Problem-solving/analytical skills with the ability to address performance issues and obstacles. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with iPhone/iPad platforms. Ability to operate within a matrix structure and experience in a large corporate environment. Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

Travel Required: 70% (field travel with sales representatives 3 weeks per month as a minimum) Compensation and Benefits

The pay range at commencement is expected to be between $150,000 - $302,500 (inclusive of commissions); base pay offered may vary by location and experience. Commissions vary by performance. Benefits include medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), paid time off, disability and parental leave, depending on position.
