Outside Parts Sales Representative Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Outside Parts Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive parts, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. As an Outside Parts Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, promoting our products, and achieving sales targets. Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain relationships with automotive repair shops, dealerships, and other potential clients. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries, concerns, and product information.
Product Promotion:
Promote and sell a wide range of outside parts, including headlights, tires, wheels, brake kits, and custom grilles. Stay updated on industry trends and new product releases to effectively communicate features and benefits.
Sales Targets:
Set and achieve sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue.
Market Research:
Identify potential clients through market research and stay informed about competitors. Analyze customer needs and provide feedback to the product development team.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain knowledge of product features and specifications. Provide technical guidance to clients in selecting appropriate parts.
Reporting:
Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, leads, and transactions. Prepare reports on sales performance and market trends regularly.
Team Collaboration:
Work with marketing and customer support teams to improve customer experience.
Requirements: Proven outside sales experience, preferably in automotive parts or related fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Results-oriented with a record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Knowledge of automotive parts and ability to explain technical details. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
