Sr. Sales Manager, Beauty Department

Sales for Beauty Work Location

Bentonville, AR: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week) Hybrid Schedule: At Helen of Troy, we embrace a flexible hybrid work model designed to support collaboration and productivity. Minneapolis, MN: Fully Remote (100%) What you will be doing

Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales, the Senior Manager of Sales plays a key role in driving sales and profitability across major U.S. retailers, including Walmart and Target. This role contributes and supports the execution of strategic initiatives across Helen of Troy’s beauty portfolio—featuring brands like Revlon and Hot Tools, with occasional involvement in emerging brands. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to launch new products, execute promotions, and support category growth. You’ll also manage the daily communication for key account relationships, contribute to planning and forecasting, and lead a team of Account Managers and Coordinators. Expect a rhythm of 30% travel and 70% remote or corporate office engagement, balancing in-market execution with strategic planning and team development. Responsibilities

Sales Execution & Account Management: Manage day-to-day sales operations for assigned accounts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and promotional plans Support Joint Business Planning (JBP), category reviews, and customer meetings to drive growth and strengthen partnerships Analyze performance using tools like Nielsen, IRI, Retail Link DSS, and Scintilla Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Brand teams to ensure seamless execution of initiatives Provide customer insights to internal teams to support demand planning and supply chain performance Team Leadership: Lead and develop direct reports including Account Managers and Coordinators; foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement Operational Support: Assist in inventory management strategies, including E&O sales and forecasting; contribute to budget planning, sales forecasting, and performance tracking; identify and help remove obstacles to customer success; perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Sales Skills & Qualifications

Strong understanding of Walmart and Target retail environments Proficiency in Nielsen, IRI, Retail Link DSS, and Scintilla Proven ability to manage customer relationships and drive profitable growth Experience leading teams and supporting performance management processes Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Collaborative mindset with a passion for building cross-functional partnerships Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field 5+ years of CPG sales experience, preferably in the beauty industry; Mass Retail Channel experience Prior experience managing teams and working with Walmart and Target Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis In Massachusetts, the standard base pay range for this role is $111,537.01 - $167,305.51 annually. This base pay range is specific to Massachusetts and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Benefits
