Overview
Mobile Associate, Store-in-Store, Retail Sales at T-Mobile. This role is part of the Retail Team at National Sales partner locations, focused on active customer engagement and bringing the T-Mobile brand to life in-store. Job Responsibilities
Proactively engages with a broad range of customers in a highly-traffic retail environment. Uses digital tools, communicates effectively, educates customers, and showcases the value of T-Mobile solutions. Leverages digital self-serve tools during customer interactions and onboarding. Identifies customer needs and uses solution-based selling to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services. Recommends wireless solutions and onboarding support to help customers self-serve and use the T-Mobile app. Completes training on in-store experience, products, processes, systems, and reference resources. Reviews personal results, promotions, and updates to be customer ready at all times. Partners with nearby store locations for on-boarding customers. Participates in skills practice, knowledge sharing, store operations, and opening/closing procedures. May carry keys to kiosk cabinets, secure assets, and report lost keys or assets to management. Maintains a customer-obsessed approach: be friendly, engaging, and capable of connecting with customers, building rapport, trust, and loyalty. Proactively reach out to potential customers to drive sales activity, follow up with customers, capture referrals, manage Be Back processes, and build relationships with new and existing customers. May perform price overrides for specialty offers specific to National Retail. Builds relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and account servicing. Education and Work Experience
High School Diploma/GED (Required) 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail environment preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Customer Satisfaction: passionate customer advocate with the desire to be yourself when connecting with customers; effective at balancing customer experience and performance goals (Required). Team Building: willingness to work with peers and store leaders, learn and share best practices, while serving customers and providing resolutions (Required). Retail Sales: competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment (Required). Licenses and Certifications
At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Travel
Travel Required: No DOT Regulated
DOT Regulated Position: No Safety Sensitive Position: No Compensation
Hourly Base Pay: $17.50, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, on-the-job training is provided and training pay is eligible. After progression to Mobile Expert, annual incentive target is $18,000/year (varies with performance and full-time status). All employees are guaranteed to earn $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives, and are eligible for an Annual Stock Grant. Benefits
