In this role you will utilize key account management skills calling on the MRO sustainment command for the United States Air Force and Army.

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career.

The Impact You’ll Make

Determine directions, priorities and assign resources with full accountability for results of the functional area.

Responsible for managing sales targets for assigned customers, area(s) and product line(s).

Identify and define market/product opportunities to meet sales and growth objectives.

Drive growth of 3M solutions at some of the Nation’s largest military depots and repair facilities.

Own, leverage and cultivate senior level relationships at assigned accounts to identify business needs and position 3M solutions for growth.

Build and execute channel engagement plans that leverage existing government contracts and market trends (e.g., use of small, disadvantaged businesses).

Lead 3M team members at assigned accounts to foster and drive collaboration in the attainment of assigned forecast.

Create, maintain, and execute pipeline of opportunities and engagements to realize key sales targets and metrics.

Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and three (3) years of account sales experience in a commercial, government, or military environment.

Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and five (5) years of military experience.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Three (3) years of key account sales experience in a government or military environment.

Strategic management of product distribution companies.

Working cross-functionally within a complex matrix organization.

Experience working as a government employee.

Skills include managing through CRM tools, selling skills, and C‑Suite sales.

Work Location and Travel Remote in Sales Territory.

Travel may include up to 50% domestic travel.

Relocation Assistance May be authorized.

Legal and Compliance Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Compensation Expected compensation range for this position is $164,612 - $201,193.
