Overview

Temporary Faculty Pool - Lecturer in Information Systems, California State University, Fresno (Craig School of Business). The pool is continuously open and positions are filled as needed based on student enrollment and funding. Appointments are temporary and may be made just prior to the start of an academic term. Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate courses in Information Systems or related topics as assigned (e.g., IS 130 Information System, IS 181 Computer Networks Management, IS 182 Advanced Network Design and Management) or other courses identified to meet the department’s educational goals. Prepare, deliver, and assess lectures; hold office hours; assign and grade coursework, quizzes, projects, and exams; and ensure courses meet the scheduled mode (asynchronous/synchronous/in-person/hybrid). Adhere to university and system-wide policies as directed by Academic Policy Manual 306, paragraph 2. Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration/Industrial Technology/Computer Sciences with emphasis in Information Systems (from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent). Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in the field; demonstrated commitment to excellence, diversity, accessibility, and equal opportunity. Preferred: Undergraduate teaching experience and evidence of teaching excellence; ability to teach courses at the undergraduate level. Appointment Details

Position type: Instructional Faculty - Temporary/Lecturer Location: Fresno, CA Salary: Commensurate by qualifications and experience; salary ranges per CSU Salary Schedule (Class Code 2358 for Academic Year Lecturers). For a full-time load (15 WTUs) graduates with a Master’s degree may earn approximately $5,507–$6,677 per month; actual salary depends on WTUs. Contract: Temporary, appointments contingent on budget, enrollment, and order of assignment provisions in the collective bargaining agreement (Order of Work). Application Procedures
