Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a visible and professional presence to deter illegal activities and ensure the safety of personnel, visitors, and property. Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms. Conduct regular patrols of the premises. Use excellent customer service and communication skills to deescalate tense or potentially violent situations. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Accurately document and report incidents, activities, and observations using company-approved forms and protocols. Inspect the premises for security risks, hazards, or violations and report findings to the appropriate personnel. Comply with all state regulations, including maintaining current armed security licensure in Texas. Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods (minimum of 1 hour). Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Must be capable of functioning independently and remaining calm in high-pressure or intense situations. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Class “D” and Class "G" Security License in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain one). Prior experience in security, law enforcement, corrections, Military (with a clear stipulation that your service have been as military police MOS) or a related field is preferred. Possess a 4-year criminal justice degree preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must have one or both of the following qualifications: 3 years' experience as an unarmed security or previous experience as an armed security officer. Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments while demonstrating professionalism and sound judgment. Must pass a background check. Availability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Work Environment:
