Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

A variety of basic operational and maintenance tasks relevant to maintaining safe and reliable operations of water treatment and distribution facilities and systems ensuring operational compliance with state and federal regulations. Routine cleaning and general housekeeping duties in work and plant areas as assigned, including but not limited to sweeping, dusting, mopping, painting, etc. Work outdoors performing water distribution system maintenance functions including the operation and testing of valves, hydrants, meters, etc. Ability to understand and carry out written and/or verbal work orders and assignments. Ability to perform simple math calculations with the use of a calculator. Basic knowledge of fundamentals of chemistry, math principles and hydraulics required. Ability to utilize CMMS system to schedule and complete work orders. Ability to properly collect water quality samples, test and maintain collection records. Actions are controlled by standard work procedures and under direct supervision of others. Required to work a pre-determined weekend shift and be available for emergency call-out in rotation with other employees. Work Environment

Works a scheduled shift. Qualifications Education/Experience/Background:

High School Diploma/GED is required. Less than 2 years' experience in Water treatment industry. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Must learn and comply with all safety procedures. Required Certification/Licenses/Training

Valid Driver's license. Additional Information Pay Range:

$25.00 to $27.00 per hour. Benefits:
