is responsible for ensuring the safe driving of the community’s vehicles and supervision of residents during community outings or trips. They may also help set up and break down activities and events in the community, in line with the company’s mission and values. Responsibilities Operate community vehicles safely on outings, excursions, special activities, and personal resident appointments. Assist with the safe loading of residents and their belongings onto and off community vehicles. Follow all state and federal laws when operating community vehicles. Comply with vehicle inspection and driving standards; demonstrate safe driving and punctuality. Act as a member of the activity staff when on outings and within the community. Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards. Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Must have either a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus. Prefer two (2) years of experience driving a vehicle/van/bus transporting people. Excellent customer service skills. Possess written and verbal communication skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and families. Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests. For health and safety, vaccination and other safety measures may be required per regulatory guidelines. About Oakmont Management Group
