The Army ROTC Teacher will be responsible for developing small learning communities, implementing standards-based instruction and curriculum, and using research-based instructional strategies. Development of small learning communities Standards-based instruction and curriculum Research-based instructional strategies Multiple formative assessments Basic computer programs such as PowerSchools, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word & Excel Working with at-risk youth/working at a Title I school, working with special needs populations Multicultural education Secondary Literacy implementation Duties/Qualifications
EL Authorized Ongoing Professional collaboration Development of small learning communities Standards-based instruction and curriculum Research-based instructional strategies Multiple formative assessments Basic computer programs such as PowerSchools, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word & Excel Working with at-risk youth/working at a Title I school, working with special needs populations Multicultural education Secondary Literacy implementation In addition to the materials listed below, you will be required to produce a valid CA Driver's License and pass both a fingerprint and drug test clearance upon receiving a job offer. Must meet the Army JROTC Instructor Eligibility and be certified by the U. S. Army Cadet Command (USACC) to apply. Eligibility:
Noncommissioned Officers who have separated/retired within the past 5 years with a minimum of 10 years cumulative honorable service in the grades of E-6 through E-9.
Officers who have separated/retired within the past 5 years with a minimum of 10 years cumulative honorable service in the grades of W-1 through W-5 or O-3 through O-6.
ARNG and USAR (Actively Serving/TPU)- will fall under the same requirements mentioned above. Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 Current) Letter(s) of Reference (3) Other (Official Recommendation from Headquarters) Resume Original copies of certain documents will be required to be produced at the time of interviews.
