$162.00/9-hour day-shift &/or $270/15-hour night-shift, $18.00/hour. Note: This is shift work and typically not eligible for overtime. Summary of Role
This temporary position offers work between April and October, with options for 9-hour day-shifts, 15-hour night-shifts, or both, based on staffing needs and applicant preference. Responsibilities include delivering outdoor education curriculum during the day, supporting evening programs, supervising campers overnight, and ensuring a positive outdoor experience for all participants. Key Responsibilities
Ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for campers, staff, and visitors. Support all camp activities and participate in weekly debriefs. Assist with camp safety, maintenance, and general duties in all weather conditions. Deliver high-quality educational programs during day and evening shifts. Supervise and provide childcare within program scope. Qualifications
Participation in pre-season training/orientation. Current Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain). Valid driver’s license and transportation to camp. Enjoy working outdoors with children. Motivated, flexible, team-oriented, and responsible. Preferred Qualifications
First Aid and CPR certification (preferred, can obtain upon hire). Food Handler's Certificate (preferred). AZ Teacher's or Substitute Certificate (preferred). Experience working with children (preferred). Additional Information
