Overview
Youth Soccer Coach (2-8 year old children) – Soccer Shots Orange County, CA. This is a part-time position. Classes are Monday through Friday in preschools, and Saturdays and Sundays at park programs in select locations. Each session lasts 30-45 minutes depending on age.
Compensation Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $32.00/hr. Training Salary: $16/hour. Salary: $22/hour. Starting at $22 per session, with raises up to $32 per session available.
Responsibilities
Lead soccer sessions for children ages 2-8 in preschools and park programs in Orange County.
Provide training, coaching equipment, and curriculum materials.
Be available for multiple sessions per week, especially afternoon sessions (setup around 2:45 pm).
Help deliver the Soccer Shots program with focus on safety and engagement.
Qualifications
Essential: Availability – minimum 3 weekday afternoons (Tues, Wed, Thu, and Fri preferred) as well as Saturday and/or Sunday mornings (9:00 am - 12:00 pm).
Desire to work here for at least a year; commitment to consistent coaching.
Fun & Silly – enjoy teaching young children.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Background check cleared – Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check.
Tb test results.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with children.
CPR/First Aid certified or ability to attain.
Previous teaching or education/coaching experience (2-8 age).
Company and Impact We currently financially sponsor 1,500 children in Cameroon (West Africa) and 300 more in Peru (South America) through revenue generated by the classes you run in Orange County.
