Lecturer applicant pool for Academic Year 2025 - 2026. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, contingent upon course offerings, student enrollment, funding, and course timing (day, evening, off-campus, or distance learning).
Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching lectures and/or laboratory classes for the Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Physics and/or;
Teaching General Education physics courses offered by the Department of Physics and Astronomy.
Maintain at least one office hour per week per course.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in physics or a related field from an accredited institution.
Evidence of satisfactory teaching ability.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience teaching college-level physics beyond the teaching assistant level.
High-quality teaching in a multicultural setting.
Experience with physics laboratory equipment.
