Supervise product delivery in the assigned galley section, ensuring consistency with recipes, adequate production, correct methods, and presentation. Control mise-en-place during preparation and tastings, maintaining recipe accuracy, production levels, and presentation quality. Supervise production schedules and galley staffing, coordinating with other Sous Chefs and department heads. Contribute to food and beverage improvement strategies as directed by the Executive Chef or Food and Beverage Director. Supervise galley staff during operations, monitoring compliance with standards. Conduct daily staff briefings and ensure Chefs De Partie conduct station briefings. Observe staff performance, providing feedback and corrections as needed. Manage production levels based on guest demand and report discrepancies to the Executive Chef. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Formal qualification in Culinary Arts from a recognized institution. At least six years of experience in high-volume food service, preferably on cruise ships, including two years as Sous Chef or higher. Ability to adapt production methods for cost efficiency. Experience training and managing multicultural staff. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Strong guest service foundation and commitment to outstanding service. Motivated to excel and deliver exceptional results. Excellent communication and social skills, with a warm personality. Ability to surprise and delight guests throughout the cruise. Commitment to maintaining professional relationships in a diverse environment. Benefits
