Security Site Supervisor – Full Time – Mason City, IA Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring for a Security Site Supervisor. Former Military / Law Enforcement encouraging to apply. Wage: $20.00/HR. What You’ll Do
Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); ensure post orders are followed, rounds are completed, and required reports are filed; notify proper authorities and client in emergency situations. Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; meets with employees to document coaching and disciplinary actions; seeks guidance from management as needed. Trains Security Officers and other personnel; reviews post orders and assignment details with subordinates. Assists in the submission of payroll and personnel information as designated. Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions in conjunction with management or designated representatives. Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required. Inspects posts as scheduled and briefs subordinates on tasks and responsibilities. Meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and to provide quality customer service. Performs supervisory duties per company policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal laws, including interviewing, orienting and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and making hiring and termination recommendations. May perform duties of a Security Officer in accordance with post orders and company policy. What We Offer

18 years of age or older. High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months. Standard computer / technology skills needed. Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills are a plus. Professional interaction with a wide range of individuals. Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift. Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and escalation. Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background investigation.
