Job Description
For Earth For Life BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:
Manage effective and positive relationships between Kubota and independent dealers to include inventory management, programs, policies, and Kubota equipment within assigned territory. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for coordinating with Kubota stakeholders within assigned territory to achieve business plan. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES
This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines: Maintain healthy and positive dealer relationships to promote a positive experience for Kubota customers. Build dealer rapport through visits to dealerships, participation in dealer events, and dealer training. Manage all dealer development activities within territory. Responsible for inventory management of all KTC equipment within territory. Provide management with sales trends, analysis, and forecasts based on contact with dealerships in territory . Identify weak market segments and provide dealers and company management with specific action plans to improve sales. Resolve problems dealers and end users have with products and services offered by the Company. Directly interact with all departments and management levels to evoke solutions. Facilitate or coordinate training of dealer personnel on Kubota products, policies, and procedures. Manage marketing activities between dealer locations and KTC agencies while staying within assigned co-op budget. Ensure a positive end user experience needed to include dealership staff and KTC service personnel. Additional duties assigned by management. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors’ degree in a business, marketing, manufacturing or mechanical field preferred. In lieu of Bachelors’ degree at least 5 years of industry experience. Demonstrates professional verbal and written communication skills. Proven retail and wholesale sales experience. Ability to solve disputes and to work with many types of personalities. Ability to travel frequently with little supervision. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Daily travel up to 60-75%, overnight travel will depend on assigned region and planned Kubota events.
