The Event Attendant plays a key role in creating a fun, safe, and memorable experience for children and their guests during birthday parties and special events at the Dominique Dawes Academy. As the point person for families, this role ensures events run seamlessly from start to finish—including guest check-in, activity facilitation, food service, and cleanup. Event Attendants bring energy, organization, and outstanding customer service to every celebration. Responsibilities
Warmly welcome families, interact with children, and create a lively, fun atmosphere. Lead games and activities, ensuring guests are entertained, engaged, and safe. Keep the event on schedule, managing transitions between activities, food service, and cake time. Address questions or concerns with professionalism and care, ensuring a positive guest experience. Decorate party spaces, set up tables/chairs, and maintain cleanliness throughout the event. Assist with serving food and distributing cake. Maintain awareness of safety rules on the gymnastics and ninja floor; enforce policies and respond to emergencies if needed. Work closely with other staff to deliver seamless, well-run events. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Core Competencies

Minimum age: 16 years old Experience working in events, parties, hospitality, or with children (preferred) Background in gymnastics, ninja, cheer, dance, or other movement-based disciplines (preferred) CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred Work Schedule & Environment
Year-round availability required for weekday evenings and weekend afternoons/evenings Events take place in an indoor gym setting with frequent interaction with children, families, and staff Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, lifting, and moving equipment Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs Comfortable working in a physically active, fast-paced, and sometimes loud environment The company is an equal opportunity employer, drug-free workplace, and complies with ADA regulations as applicable.
