The Retail Store Manager of Sunnyside* is responsible for day‑to‑day team leadership and delivering a profitable business that supports Cresco Labs’ mission to normalize, professionalize and revolutionize the cannabis industry. You will ensure the dispensary achieves or exceeds all key metrics and goals across customer acquisition, merchandising, operations, and talent development. Key Responsibilities

Build and sustain a high‑performing team through recruitment, onboarding, coaching and clear accountability. Conduct regular one‑on‑one quality conversations with team members. Assess team performance, skill gaps, and career aspirations; provide resources and trainings. Analyze labor schedules and headcount requirements in line with sales trends and labor laws. Motivate and inspire the team to exceed revenue targets and KPIs, emphasizing selling and cross‑selling techniques. Partner with Human Resources to resolve employee relations issues. Ensure employees are knowledgeable about regulatory changes. Maintain a clean and safe environment for employees and customers. Provide regular updates and solutions to corporate retail leadership. Establish key business partner relationships across Human Resources, Outreach, Compliance, Security, Employees Health & Safety, Marketing, Construction, and IT. Drive profitable sales through forecasting, scheduling, outstanding customer service, and execution of programs and initiatives. Identify business and competitor risks; analyze metrics to increase market share. Support outreach efforts and community partnerships to build a positive image and drive brand awareness. Establish daily operations procedures with an eye toward improvement and efficiency. Oversee inventory activities to meet product requirements and ensure timely deliveries. Maintain accurate records of all dispensary activities including daily cash reconciliations, guest records, sales, deliveries and returns. Perform monthly audit reporting and store visit checklists with the Area Manager. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, state, and local laws. Serve as point of contact for state regulators and local authorities during inspections or audits. Required Experience, Education, and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in business or comparable experience. 5–7 years of retail management experience; cannabis knowledge a plus. Experience managing teams of 10 or more, preferably in a high‑volume location with a focus on team development. Demonstrated ability to learn, apply, and teach technical, product‑related information consultatively. Experience working closely with HR teams and processes. High level of integrity, personal motivation, and sense of urgency. Proficient in MS Office; highly proficient in MS Excel with data entry and data management experience. Strong business acumen, excellent communication, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. Available to work all hours of operation, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance). Benefits

$80,000 – $85,000 USD Additional Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older. Must comply with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry.
