Applications for part-time adjunct faculty pools to teach Sports Medicine within the P.E. Department are accepted continuously. Screening committees will review candidates. Meeting minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview. If there is no immediate need, applications remain in the queue for consideration until need arises, or for one year in active status. Part-Time Adjunct Faculty assignments may include weekend and/or evening classes at the Visalia Campus, the Hanford Educational Center, or the Tulare College Center. If you submit a duplicate application, only your most recent will remain active for one year. Part-Time Adjunct faculty positions are temporary and do not accrue rights to tenure. Under the general direction of a dean or director, adjunct faculty provide comprehensive classroom instruction to community college students. The majority of departments require the ability to teach face-to-face classes. Current course listings can be found in the Academic Catalog. Adjunct faculty may also be expected to collect and submit data on student learning objectives as needed. Qualifications
