About MSU Denver
MSU Denver enrolls over 16,000 students, with nearly 60% being first-generation and over 55% students of color. Located in downtown Denver, it is a designated Hispanic Serving Institution, an INSIGHT into Diversity HEED Award winner for 10 consecutive years, and the only Seal of Excelencia certified institution in Colorado. Responsibilities
Teach up to 9 credit hours per semester in areas such as assessment, classroom management, math methods, reading methods, IEP development, emotional and behavioral disabilities, transition, and disabilities severity levels.
Availability to supervise clinical experiences during school hours for relevant courses.
Provide consultation and support to students before and after classes.
Deliver course content in person, online, or hybrid formats, and maintain office hours.
Prepare course materials, grade assignments, and provide timely feedback.
Adhere to university policies on instruction evaluation and peer observations.
Qualifications
Required: Master's degree.
Preferred: Doctoral degree or ABD status.
Terms of Employment Part-time, at-will, teaching on a per-credit basis each semester. No benefits are provided. Teaching is contingent on budget and enrollment. Candidates must be prepared to teach in person upon hire.
