As an Assistant Service Manager, you will gain hands-on experience in a Goodyear Auto Service center by connecting with guests while delivering outstanding service. You will help manage the service department by scheduling associates, handling service appointments, and organizing workflow to deliver quality work on time to guests. Responsibilities
Drive and reach sales goals through guest interactions, including tire and service sales Build guest relationships and ensure guest satisfaction by acting as the liaison between technicians and guests Effectively manage the service department as needed Contribute to training and development of service department associates Articulate warranties, promotions, and advertisements Utilize tools to recommend services based on manufacturing guidelines Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting Basic Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of previous automotive service department experience Valid driver's license Must be at least 18 years of age No relocation offered Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future Preferred Qualifications
Previous management experience Previous automotive service sales experience Position Criteria
Strong work ethic; independently motivated to produce results Hard working with responsibility, dependability, conscientiousness, communication, and teamwork Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures and guidelines Stores may be open 7 days a week, including weekends and some holidays depending on location Ability to follow established safety policies and procedures Application Process
